Quinta dos Carvalhais, Dão Encruzado 2019

Named for the majestic oak trees which line this prestigious Dão estate, Quinta dos Carvalhais is one of the region's most respected producers of authentically Portuguese wines. Dão Encruzado 2019 is made from 100% Encruzado, which is considered Portugal's finest white grape. Bright yellow in colour, it has intense aromas of peaches and nectarines, as well as floral notes of jasmine & orange blossom along with some well-integrated notes of brioche from time spent in oak barrels. The palate is fresh and balanced with vibrant acidity and a long, persistent finish. It's a knockout with creamy seafood pastas.
